Liquid Intelligent Technologies SA’s involvement in the YES initiative since 2020 is a testament to its commitment to creating employment opportunities for the youth, contributing to the building of stronger communities and transforming South Africa into a more sustainable and inclusive nation. To date, it has empowered 276 young people through the initiative, equipping them with the skills needed to succeed in the job market or to venture into entrepreneurship.

This has helped to combat unemployment and boost economic growth.

Liquid SA’s pledge to Yes is a clear indication of its vision for a brighter, more prosperous South Africa where every young person has the opportunity to succeed.

By investing in the youth. It is not just contributing to their success but also playing a pivotal role in the nation’s economic and social transformation.

Key highlights include:

• Welcoming 150 new young people into the programme
• Hosting a total of 43 individuals at Liquid’s offices. They gained valuable workplace experience across various departments.
• 13 from its 2023 socio-economic development programme are gaining practical experience in the Royal Bafokeng Nation Enterprise Development ecosystem. This supports the youth and SMMEs by enhancing resource capacity.
• A total of 50 young people from the Mthatha region in the Eastern Cape are studying at the LIT Innovation and Digital Skills Centre, integrating their learning with practical workplace experience and
• A total of 44 young people have been placed with SMMEs across Gauteng. This is helping them to gain valuable work experience while also contributing to the strengthening of these businesses’ capabilities.
