A team member of the micro-manufacturing sanitary pad plant at the Genesis Hub in Saldanha, Elzaan Neo Moeketsi say that the YES program has helped her upgrade her personal skills. She says, “Before, I had no experience of menstrual health, but today I’m making menstrual pads.”
Elzaan adds, “I see myself differently as a result of the YES program. I have met people with different circumstances and backgrounds, which have made me comfortable in myself knowing I’m not alone. Everyone’s past is different and the way out of your circumstances is what you make of what you got.”
