Listen OFM: South Africa’s economy grew by 1.2% in Q2

By Admin
September 13, 2021

South Africa’s economy grew by 1.2% in Q2 – while this is more than was projected, record-high youth unemployment rates paint a shaky picture of jobless growth in the country. With experts projecting a contraction in Q3 (due to the unrest in July), it is more critical now than ever that we get youth into jobs, or find pathways that nurture entrepreneurship, to reset our economy and co-create a future that works. Listen to co-acting CEO of YES, Leanne Emery, discuss this on OFM.
