Princess found about ORT SA through a friend who, like her, was being interviewed for the YES Nedbank intake.
She says, “My experience has been great and I’ve learnt a lot from doing admin work. My computer skills have improved and I’m enjoying every second I spend interacting with my work colleagues, as well as with school pupils and parents at the front desk.”
Princess says the YES initiative is a great opportunity that youth should not take for granted. ‘’It’s not easy to find work; especially if you don’t have any work experience. For me, the ORT SA YES Nedbank programme is a great stepping-stone to better employment.’’
